Odbor Gradskog društva Crvenog križa Koprivnica na posljednjoj je sjednici razmatralo mogućnost otvaranja socijalnog dućana namijenjenog socijalno ugroženim obiteljima. Ovaj projekt već postoji u nekih hrvatskim gradovima poput Zagreba, Splita, Gospića i Rijeka. Kako stoji u priopćenju koprivničkog Crvenog križa, za realizaciju ovog projekta očekuje se razumijevanje i potpora Grada Koprivnice. Osim toga, članovi Odbora rapravljali su i o formiranju Županijskog interventnog tima, čija će zadaća biti zaštita i spašavanje ljudi u elementarnim ili drugim nepogodama. Svi će članovi tima proći obaveznu edukaciju iz prve pomoći, psihološke pomoći, sigurnosti i samozaštite u intervenciji te veze i komunikacije. Isto tako, Odbor je upoznat i s predstojećem natjecanjem mladeži Hrvatskog crvenog križa koji će se ove godine održati u Osnovnoj školi Sokolovac, a međužupanijsko natjecanje za podmladak i mladež bit će održano u Bjelovaru, dok će najbolji nastupiti na državnom natjecanju u Rijeci.
